Pick a Card, Any Card for the Bouldering Wall

Grade level: K-6

Equipment:  several decks of playing cards, scotch tape.

Objective: Like the game of memory, to match the card that is drawn to a card taped up on the wall.

Description: Have the group get into groups of three.  The roles are card caller, spotter, and climber.  The card caller randomly picks 10 cards from a pile of cards.  The card caller then calls out what the cards are and the climber must climb over to where that card is located on the wall and slap the card.  The climber completes a set of 10 cards before coming down off of the wall and the roles reverse.

Rules/Safety/Accommodations: Students should follow basic climbing wall rules.
