Type of Activity:  Get to Knot You, Ice Breaker Tool

Props Needed:  Meet and Greet Thumball

Set Up:  The easiest way to play is to get the participants into a circle and ask them to toss the ball to one another.  Whenever the ball is caught, ask that person to look underneath their right thumb for the category.

Process:  The Meet and Greet ball has a different approach then other balls that works great with adults and business group (education, corporate, etc.) Toss the ball and respond to the panel under your thumb by answering for yourself.


  • Respond by asking another participant to answer.
  • Predict the answer another participant would give.
  • Once a group has played together several times you can add the challenge of recalling an answer provided by another participant on a previous day.
